Mariel and I seem to have been going out on a lot of night walks recently. Its hard to break the schedule that Parsons has given us, waking up late, going to sleep late. Still, it has provided an interesting environment in which I can experiment with photography in new ways. I’m really becoming enamoure by the high contrast images that are afforded by the lights of the city. Places seem to fade from the perfect white radiance to black obsurity in a moment. To add to this, there is a wealth of shadows and reflections that are created by night lighting.
This definitely isn’t going to be something I stop doing soon.
